FLASH: tweened motion along a path

Hi,

what are exactly the conditions to get a tweened motion along a path ?

I tried it a lot of times unsuccessfully:

sometimes it works fine sometimes not and i don't understand where is the

difference so what are exactly the things to do and what's important to

respect to get it ?
