Hi,
your Problem is the ZIP. Mac normaly don�t use the Zip-Compression.
(Only with special utilities as MacZip) Better use Stuffit (aladin) to compress as ".sit"," .sea" or "binary". SEA (self extracting archiv) is best use for your job I think.
