Subject: | FLASH: Problem with Scenes |

Hello all,
A colleague of mine is doing a project in Flash 3. This is her first time
using Flash, and the point of the exercise was for her to become familiar
with it. The project has seven scenes and she has used buttons to navigate
from scene to scene. The problem is that the buttons work fine in authoring
mode, but they do not work and cause the player to lock up when exported as
an .swf. She is asking me for help because I have more Flash experience,
but I can't figure out what's wrong. I suspect that the problem has
something to do with the scenes, but I have never worked with scenes before
so I am unaware of any tips, tricks, bugs, or problems associated with them.
If it matters, the file has a lot of sound and the file size is quite large
(for CD, not web delivery). My suggestion was to copy everything into one
long movie or a smaller movie with movie clips. Any suggestions or ideas
would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Eric Scott
