Marc,
I have run into that problem as well, and the fix was to make a movie clip
with button overlays as well.
I have recently made a game that totally relies on MCs playing in sync and
I have had no problems with that. I have found that if actions try to occur
in the split second between frames, they won't work (i.e. I put a button
in each frame of a 10 frame MC that looped over and over, each button had
an Onclick action. Sometimes when I clicked, the action would not work
because of the timing between frames)
I have also had problems with multiple frame commands in one frame, I had
to stretch them out over multiple frames to get them to work.
Some weird things happen, I just wishlist the people at MM everytime I find
something odd.
