To disable a button go to a new frame where you have another instance of the button but have the behavior of this instance set as graphic. Return to the active button(s) (behavior set as Button) when you need it clickable again
Hi John,
Thanks for your response. Another question please. I apologize if I it seems like I am asking you to repeat yourself.
I have all my MC's in Frame1 of the Main Timeline (about 20 of them in separate layers). So far the whole movie is 1 Frame. Do I place the aforementioned graphic instance of the button in Frame2. Can I use a Stop action in Frame1 to prevent it from jogging back and forth between Frame1 and Frame2 and vice-versa a Stop action in Frame2 when I want only the graphics versions of all my MC's on the stage. Is this the way to do it.
The invisible button is on top in MC 'A' which contains MC '1' with an invisible continuous feedback button array, and MC '2', a set of animations with a parked frame for the stage. So I don't know how to disable the hit state of the top button instance and keep the button graphics on stage.
Thanks for any help,
Larry
