Subject: RE: FLASH: swf vs. Tell Target question

Just to clarify....
How many stop frames will I have with this setup?

It looks like you're saying to have two frames, each containing a 'stop'
action. One of the frames will house the MC's and the other will be a
'parked' frame, where unwanted graphics are not showing.

At this point, I've got my setup like this:
1) Four MC's are all in the same frame.
Each of the MC's is has a blank stopped first frame so that they are
invisible until 'Tell Target' is enacted.

2) Button is clicked and the Tell Target starts the related MC. Note: The
score hasn't moved. It's still sitting in the same frame.

3) I want to click on one of the other buttons to activate another MC, but
the MC still playing doesn't want to disappear. (It has got a stop frame on
its last frame).

Am I missing another frame?
Sorry if my explanation isn't clear. If you have an example of this that I
can view/download, that would be great.

Thanks much.
