john, this helps me a lot and i feel I am getting closer<g>, but for 

some reason I am still struggling a bit.........and doing so at almost 

11pm central time, I might add...i really want to get this right before 

i die!<g> (of course your answer just came in a while ago too, so i 

can't complain....indeed, i won't<g>.


i think it might help if you would tell me how this is constructed.


is, for example, the light background, simply a layer the size of the 

movie with nothing in it but a "light" color?


and what must one do to actually see what is on every layer as, just 

selecting a layer or looking in "symbols" doesn't do it.
