To control MCs externally you use Tell Target.
A Movie Clip has its own independent timeline which can be controlled
separately from the main timeline with Tell Target.
You can create animations totally on the main timeline or with
independent MCs supplementing the main timeline. Most experienced
Flashera will create most of their animations in MCs because of the
flexibility of the MC.
