Now I've gotten as fas as a very jerky version of a movie by the following
steps:
(depending on who answers you get different methods!!)
New > View work area (don't ask me what the differance is between that and
the default window!!!!) Go directly to the text tool and make the text -
it's default Layer1
Go to Insert Layer > stupidly enough it places Layer 2 ABOVE layer 1 so I
move it down
it has the pencil showing so I asume it's the layer being edited. I use the
paintbrush tool to make a irregular blue area we will call "cloudlayer"
With the pointer tool I left-click on 60 then right click on Insert Keyframe
and the same for Layer1
Opps forget to make them into Symbols - Jeeezus!!! Erase everything and start
all over ...
Insert > Create Symbol > Graphic
The Insert Frame as above and make my cloud again - make it a symbol too
giving it a name (don't ask me why, I'm fumbling in the darkness here ...)
Now I right click on the first frame in cloudlayer and Modify > Tweening >
Motion >
Didn't work so good soooooooo I tried right clicking the last keyframe in
cloudlayer and Insertkeyframe but now there is a red arrow right accross the
whole timeline. Haven't a clue what that could possibly entail!!
So now I'm totally lost for the 200th time closing the program and agree with
a recent contributer that many of the tutorials have contadictory moves and
assum you know what is going on already - in which case who needs 'em!?!
