Subject: FLASH: LOOP AND TIMER ???????
From: Erwin Geens

Hi,

I need to make a traditional Flash movie wich in interactive - so far
no problem
I also need to make a timer function/script that trough the whole movie
cheks for a time out period
of some minutes.
So if the user didn't touch the mouse for a period, a "loop-mode" of the
movie happens.
When the user touches the mouse, we come back to the mainscreen or
something.

Do I need to make for the autoloop mode of the movie a whole new flash
version of this movie - with no frame/stops ?

OR - Can I do it with scripting ?
Can Flash handle this ?

PS I am a experienced Director user - so I could do it in Director 7.0
with Flash 3 import.
When I do this : 1. I cannot do a fullscreen presentation like in
Flash 3 (AM I wrong?)
-Or can a Flash 3 movie imported in
Dir.7 make the stage/size larger, even fullscreen in Dir 7?

2. Since the movie must
run on the net, file size in Shockw. Director will be much larger ?

All suggestions are very welcome !

Thanx

Erwin
