Unfortunately, as it would make this simple, that is not the case.

it was created as a movie clip under symbol editor...and its properties
state it to be a movie clip.

regrettably there is no url as i am just learning flash here.

can you tell me what might cause this to have been the case and also, if it
is possible to import a movie clip into another movie (from the library of
the movie it is already in)......i have tried this by attempting to drag
the clip from its library into the new animation, but all i get is the
first symbol in the clip (which is the one pictured in the library).

Double Click the Instance of the MC on
