FLASH: off browser offline flash control (active x ?)

hi all,


where can i find information on :


- using flash without browsers and controlling it with

  activeX or something similar ?

- embedding flash into other applications ? (not Director)



Is it possible at all ?


(i thought, somebody from this list did it ?)


Is there any way to play flash on a windows desktop

transparent and windowless without any border ?
