Ok, I'm back from work and I see the quick dirty demo didn't cut it. So I
threw together the rest of it. Now it has completely the same functionality
as your file except that it uses only Flash and Flash methods.

Nope, I used Tell Targets to manipulate the MC instances. There are only 3
states (one for each button) that the movie "stops" in.

If you want to get technical, I DID have to use JavaScript to reach across
the frames and have the HTML talk to the SWF. But the code is about 1/10th
of what you had to use, and all of it was referring Flash methods (the SWF).
Most of the functionality is in the SWF, the Flash methods took care of the
rest.

So if your point is that you can't do this without ANY JavaScript, then you
are right, it's an impossible request due to the HTML and frames. But it can
be done strictly with Flash and Flash methods.
