Ther is a programe out there to unprotect SWF
files and there is also another programe to extract each layer as a seperate SWF
file.
Please everyone remember to only use these programes to regain
what you have lost and not to steal graphics and stuff from other
people.

problem?
Ouch, I hate it when that happens. I learned
the hard way (as it seems you just did) to constantly make a backup in
Flash, as I lost hours of work on my first project in the exact same way. I
was unable to find a way to get it back myself, although some suggested that
if I had an unprotected swf, I could at least import that and be able to
extract the library elements. (Unfortunately again, my swf was
protected.)
If someone has found a fix for this, please share.
