Fernando,
Just taking a stab at this; you might want to try Macromedia's Authorware
Attain. It would most likely handle the database much better, and it has a
program similar to Aftershock to put it on the web. Flash 2 can be used in
Authorware via the Flash Asset Xtra, and Flash 3 can be used with the
ActiveX control. However, it does have it's drawbacks. Middleware
(software to communicate from Authorware to the database) is required if
running over the web. This can be solved by using CGI scripting or a
program called Hotsockets. Another drawback is that the Authorware Web
Player is HUGE. Dreamweaver Attain may also be helpful. I believe it was
designed to deliver interactive content without the use of a plugin. I
don't know what would be required to connect Dreamweaver to a database
though.
