Hi,

If your image has a lot of colours and fills, I would say stick to the
raster image (bitmap).. I have tried a small test in vectors, it works out
to:
Heavy imaging (more colours / details) - Heavier vector
Light image - Lighter vector

Try it.... Its a fact! (Atleast for me!)
