Hi Vincent,
can�t solve your Illustrator problem, just can tell you, how to import
transparent bitmaps. Create a mask of the part you want to see of the bitmap
in photoshop. Save the selection and then export the bitmap as PNG. Flash
will leave the unselectet parts transparent.
