According to Microsoft (I was burned badly by my beta IE 5 and haven't
yet installed the release on my newly restored PC), Flash is standard on
the new release.
As for opening a new window, check your preferences to be certain you
have all your Java options enabled.

While we are on IE5 any knowledge of whether it will not spawn a new
window.
Mine refuses to open any additional windows on sites that call for one.
