Hello Michael:


Did you set multiple hints or just a couple?  With some more complex thing I had this sort of trouble with, it took many hints to get it to go the way I wanted.


Also, did you try making each blind into a symbol, then created 2 keyframes, the first has the blind as it should start, then in the 2nd keyframe (say 10 frames down), resize vertically, to *squish* it so that it might appear that it was opened (set the tweening to motion)?  (since I don't know what it actually looks like, I could be way off on this)
