I hope you'll accept some suggestions from a novice....I was asking the

group for sources of royalty free music for an intro a few weeks back and I

got a book (complete idiot's guid to MP3 - OK have you stopped laughing

yet?) and it had a free version of Music Match, available at

http://www.musicmatch.com/download/ that did an excellent job of converting

MP3 to .wav -- if I did it, anyone could.  I didn't like it so much for

editing, but another free download http://www.musicmatch.com/download/ was

great for clipping and adding fade in, fade out.  It took me a little longer

to figure out, but again, if I can figure it out, anyone can.
