And a bl**dy pain in the butt it is too!

It can be done (kinda), as long as you stick to 120 bpm, and then choose a
frame rate which can sub-divide easily into beats, eg: 12 fps. ;)

And you also have to set the sound to 'stream', so that the frame rate is
forced to stay in sync with the music. Then when you want to introduce a new
loop, break the previous loop a bar (or whatever) before the change. ie
/boom boom boom pause/ boomtit boomtit boomtit boomtit/. the pause will
cover any latency in the switchover.

And all of this will only work if you have zero interactivity - ie
presentation only.

Still flash 5 will sort all this out, won't it?
