Whether it's .acd (acid) .veg (vegas) cool edit, etc,
all those small files basically have pointers to the
actual WAV file, so the client would *have* to have
the wav file. It's like a midi file with notes and
pointers, but no sound to generate.

I do mixes in Acid, Vegas, etc using loops etc, but
then simply write them out to a mixed down wav, then
import in Flash and export as MP3, at 64k or so, an
MP3 can be quite compressed and still sound good.
