as far as i know swish is still at http://openswf.org/swish/index.html.
i followed the discussion between david and the crackers.
- - swish had no reall protection, was minute job to do the crack.
- - the so called hackers ,gave david adwise how to make his app save or
nearly save.
and hopefully swish will be finished
Boy, think he'll do a Mac version as well? That would rock.

Hi Peter,
I not exactly sure what a 'distractor' is -- in an instruction design context, but I use databases to do all of the things you're looking for except number of tries and timer.
I've built a series of training programs using Macromedia Director that use databases to help build exercises and deliver randomized tests. I'm currently converting the programs over to Flash. What exactly are you looking for? I think I know most of the good, bad, and ugly, for database powered testing and exercises.
