Kevin Jackson just couldn't wait to tell us, so he rushed into the
room and breathlessly announced:

>Just received my Adobe magazine today and they have an article on Live
>Motion.
>
>Article starts with Tired of Creativity Crushing Web Animation Tools? Found
>that a bit arrogant and obnoxious.

Maybe you expected them to say, "We really respect and admire Flash,
it's the Be-All and End-All, but nonetheless would you kindly
consider our humble offering as a possible improvement upon certain
minor shortcomings in Flash?!"

>Reminded me of some of the platform wars,
>can't they just grow up?

What, and not compete?

>It then went on to say that I should go to
>www.adobe.com/products/livemotion to download the Beta now. I did (of course
>it isn't really there yet)

"Of course?" As if MM never did the same kinda thing, right?

>Supposedly they will send me an email with
>further instructions.

Not if they hear about your attitude! :-)

>Thought some of you might want to get in line.

Already signed up; thanks!

*DAMN*.

Last Friday, 2/25/00, and/or Sunday, 2/27/00, on FoxNews' "The
O'Reilly Factor", Bill O'Reilly read *my* email to him! BUT I didn't
run a VCR on it. Anybody have a copy? TNX.

"Adobe, who has deeper pockets than Macromedia, has announced a Flash
competitor. Will Macromedia survive?"
