I'm still using Flash Mac 4 r14... maybe it is a player thing, but I imagine

Marc has one that normally provides sound (he's the sound guru :) Could one

of the players only be losing *some* sound and only on netscape? This is a

very weird problem... I'm curious about the answer. I also wonder about

Eva's sound settings... on one of my sites, I lost some sounds when they

were exporting as "mono" (the default) and they came back when I told them

to stop that, but I didn't check it on multiple browsers to see if it still

played in others.

I've been avoiding updating, because the player I have works (don't fix it

if it ain't broke) and I kind of like having an old one, but now I'm having

trouble with director files. To fix it all, I guess I'd have to update

shockwave and then update again to the newest Flash - can I take the old

version out of the folder and hide it from the updater?
