There's also further information in the Flash and Director technotes areas

when searching with term "synchronization".


Recap: Although Director can use nestable sprites made of Flash, QuickTime,

or Director movies, it's much easier to manage projects when you use

flatter hierarchies of simpler sprites. Instead of embedding media inside

other media, try using two media elements, which you can then synch

together in the host environment.
