Just create an editable text field and place all of your text into it. Then
you can scroll this field by just incrementing or decrementing blah.scroll
where blah is the variable you used for the text field.

Hi,

I have been told that Flash must have the ability to scroll actual text, not
text converted to an symbol. So far I have just been moving the text
converted into a symbol with continuous feed back buttons. Is there a
better way to scroll text? and if so, please could someone shed some light.
A good example is at www.crashmedia.com/flash/index.html . The cursor
changes to the blinking "i" when over their text.

Any ideas?
