A lot of work when no benefit is given over simply tracking the vertical
co'ords of the mouse...stray away from the path and it still drags. What are
the benefits of using the equation....unless you're going to introduce
sinusoidal curves and hyperbole?

That would be interesting.

++ You can also do this matematically using equations for the
++ curve... I have
++ done such with half a circle... though I am also working
++ with a version
++ which will actually measure angles...
