Try putting a key frame where you want the audio to stop and select the sound tab in the frame property and select the sound clip. Then set the sync to stop. That should stop that audio clip at that point.
good luck

Dear All
I've been having a few problems with flash recently in regards to audio. The
situation is as follows; I've created a number of scenes of which I've put
audio on scenes 2 and 3. When I export the movie to a .swf file the audio
carries on playing from scene 2 to scene 3 even though I have a stop at the
end of scene 2 (movie animation stops - not audio). Why? I just don't know.
I've changed the compression settings but I just don't understand why the
audio in scene 3 is playing in scene 2 when I haven't told it to!!!
If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.
