FLASH: Projector Performance

I have trouble getting projectors to work well off of a local disk. For some

reason, whenever I run a projector off disk it plays slow or hurky-jerky:

play five frames, pause, play five frames, pause. The corresponding swf file

always comes through great though. Sometimes this playback glitch goes away

if I, get this: move the mouse over the stage of the projector. Similar

problems when running a .swf in a browser from a local disk. Any help?
