That's how I'm doing it, Scott.  So far, though, it is just drawing a bunch

of dots that vary in spacing by how fast I'm moving the mouse.  Kind of

neat, but NOT the effect I was after!  I need to add some calculations of

size and direction based on prior & current x/y position...:-\
