FLASH: sound in preloader...help

hi all, i have just followed the preloader tutorial in

'flash 4 magic'- just the part relating to stopping

sounds from play in the preloader. all it says i need

to do is quote " .....turn off the sound while it's

preloading (frame prperties>sound>sync>stop)".


however at least on ie4.6/ns4.7 on a mac,  its not

working.

does anyone have a clue or a suggestion or tutorial to

show me how to preven sounds from playing in the

pre-loader?


any help appreciated
