FLASH: A couple of "can it be done" questions...

My company's current project invloves accessing a national database of 

activities, and displaying a page of graphics and text.  We were 

considering using flash to do so, and I was wondering if someone can 

answer some "can it be done" questions:


We're using Filemaker Pro as our database, and Lasso as our cgi.  My 

first question is, Has anyone used flash and lasso together?  I would 

love some feedback on this...


Our proposed method of creating the different activities is to embed the 

"repeating" elements (such as a rating, category, etc.) within the flash 

movie.  The movie would make a call to the database to obtain which 

repeating elements to display along with the text to be displayed.  There 

is also a unique title graphic for every activity.


Can anyone tell me if this is within flash's capabilities?

Is flash able to reference outside graphics?
