Hi Branden!
Thanks for the links. I had seen the chemical modeler before, but I guess my
interests have changed since then, as I wasn't looking at it in the same
way. I'll greatly appreciate it if you open-source it.

Not being a coder, I'm not too sure what else there is besides the z-sorting
(that is, what's the hard part?)? I do think I understand the basic concepts
of that much fairly well. I can see it might be hard on flash to handle much
in more than a simple model (if a lot else was going on or something). I'm
interested (naturally) mostly from a gaming standpoint. So far, I still
haven't seen 3d effects that I think really work on the web - but I'm
expecting that to change as we gain bandwidth. I can see this kind of thing
would be useful in order to change viewpoints in a game/room environment.
For example, to keep track of what's behind you to show when you turn
around, by reference to everything else (if that makes sense).

For some reason, your posts always seem to show up well below the others. (I
know my system clock is 1/2 hour fast, which puts mine a little above
everyone else's.) I thought maybe they were just posting slow or something,
but it does seem to happen every time? When I get behind reading the list
for some reason, I keep trying to catch up top-down and sometimes miss
yours, only reason I'm mentioning it.

Thanks again!
Laura
