Hi, Marc.
Put a new layer on your main timeline called "labels" (not neccessary, but
good practice)
Double click the keyframe in frame 1 of this new layer
Click on the tab that says "Label" and give that frame a label (like
"hello")
Add a new keyframe in frame 2 of the new "label" layer
Double click on the new keyframe and label it "bye"
Now, double click on your movie-clip, and pick the 'pencil' to edit it
>From the resultant edit mode, double click on the button instance
Click on the Action tab
Add action "tell target" - target is "/" (that slash is equal to the main
timeline)
Add "go to" and pick "label" and type in "bye"
Scenes are just for convenience in organizing your movie as you develop it.
Once the movie is published, all the frames are flattened into one scene,
therefore a frame #1 of scene #2, where scene #1 is 100 frames long, becomes
frame #101. It is much easier to modify and follow your development if you
label your frames instead of referring to them by frame number.
