Subject: FLASH: Trouble with Actions
From: Seth Newton
Date: Thu, 23 Mar 2000 00:23:17 GMT

I can't get any of my condition statements to work. I used the example on
the website to try to get one of my animations to loop...here is that
syntax.

Set Variable: "counter" = counter + 1
If (counter < 5)
Go To and Play (10)
End If

However, when I put this in, it will loop forever, and never stop. So I
changed the value of "counter" to 6, which would make it so the condition
statement would ALWAYS be false, so it should never loop, but it looped
anyway, which tells me that it's treating the "If" statement like it's a
comment statement....It just totally ignores it. Has anyone ever had this
problem? Thanks in advance for your time.

-Seth.
