As Mike noted, this default makes your text searchable. As Helen advised,
you can remove it if you like.

It's very simple to eliminate such text extraction if you wish. Open up the
"default.html" file in your Flash "HTML" folder, and comment out the "$MT"
line. That's all this "Movie Text" variable does in your HTML template.

The full list of variables for publishing is on pp248-9 of the Flash 4
manual. You can set up your HTML pages to automatically be precisely the
way you wish. Just saving the new templates into that folder is enough to
show them in your "Publish" dialog the next time you start Flash.
