Subject: FLASH: Load variable from txt in Netscape
From: Daniel Guerrier
Date: Wed, 29 Mar 2000 04:08:16 +0100

I'm loading some variables from text into _level0
A textfield that should display this variable is not
being loaded using Netscape version 4.72. But it work
without a hitch using IE 5.01. How can I trouble shoot
such a problem?
Here's the actionscript in frame 1 of the main time
line:

Load Variables ("test.txt", 0)

There's not much to check.

The plugin is loaded.
Here's the deal.
I have a label named two, and a label named one.
I have a two buttons that jumped to one of the labels.
Label one is also the frame #1 of the main time. If I
jump to label two and then back to one every thing
works fine. Why doesnt the variable on Netscape when
the movie first load, why do I have to leave the frame
that loads the variable and come back to it for it to
work?
