Subject: RE: FLASH: Overcoming Old Browser Issues

Are there any steps the users need to take once they've downloaded the
plug
in, like clearing their browsers' caches and reloading the page, in
order
for them to actually see our top splash page and everything underneath
it?

Ann, would recommend putting on a button/hyperlink with the following
actionscript to refresh the browser plug-ins:

On (Release)
Get URL
<enter the following in the URL box>
javascript:navigator.plugins.refresh(true)
<leave window box blank and leave variables as 'dont send'>
End On

Then put in another button/hyperlink with a Get URL pointing to the swf
that you want.

I know of no problems as far as the cache is concerned.

I can't take credit for this, as someone on the list helped me with this
a while ago and it seems to work a treat!
Come back if this is not clear.
