yeah, Adobe made that argument several times at the conference. But I've
never found it particularly satisfying. well, poor adobe, they decided to
sit back and wait to see if Macromedia fell on its face. when it didn't
they decided to enter the market. Now that they have a 4 version gap
between them and macromedia they say that oh well, Flash was not this good
at Flash 2. Well DUH! MM came up with the ideas, then Adobe came along and
copied them making a feww alterations while leaving out a lot of features.

No library (adobe say its "under the hood" but they could not tell me how
much you sould change something before it was saved in a new place and not
an instance anymore)

No conditional scripting

lines and fill can't be separated, and can't be used together even unless
you create a new object and select a radio button changing the shape to a
stroke.

no orient to path

I didn't see shape tweening but it sould have been there and I just missed
it

Remember, this is only v1 of LM and it took to version 4 to implement
scripting
into Flash. My guess is that v2 of LM will incorporate some kind of
scripting.
Remember there are those of us who do both design and scripting (not as rare
as
you might think or hope) so one do-all program would be nice.
