FLASH: aliasing hangup - help! anyone?

hi all,


i've got a large gif, very optimised. i've set dreamweave envelope for high,

also overrode that in html & set for best, also used flash html set at best.


BUT... most of the time, the gif still displays aliased... really jaggedy

junky & ruins effect. About 10% of the time it plays clean and

shiny---totally unpredictable. It's the same for both SOA browsers on my

mac, os9, but that should make no diff. Do incorporate many jpegs & picts,

and use flash optimization at 30, but that is not supposed to affect

imported gifs, pre-optimised, which is confirmed by size report.


PLEASE... anyone know a way to force gif to play clean, even if it means

slowing down movie streaming?---i can accomodate that if necessary.
