Hi David,
Buttons are always active whether hidden visually or not. The only
thing that disables a button is another button above it. One solution is
to place a non-functional button over it in the hidden area. Or just
eliminate the button when not needed. Or move it off canvas, make sure
it is truely off canvas when played back.
