Colour ghosting when using Masks in Flash 3

hi!

does anyone know why the Mask layer in Flash 3 does not cover the target

layer completely?

i always get areas of the target layer in about 2-5% opacity where the mask

layer should have covered completely.


also, any way where a feathered mask can be used?


any answers?
