could you all give me some feedback on the following site:

we created a large-ish opening animation (approx. 65k), and i am wondering
what can be done to make it smaller without sacrifcing too much. it works
wonderfully over here --but that's cause i'm on a T1 -- but i tested it on a
friend's MAC 5300ce across a 56k line and it seemed to crawl, and slow up
the rest of his system to boot.

i didn't think 65k was terrible, considering it should be streaming in by
pieces ( you will see this happen, esp. if have a very slow connection), but
i have seen some lags on different browsers/platforms/configs. wondering if
there are shortcuts to cut down the file size.
