Subject: Tech Support? hello??

Is it me, or does anyone else find tech support impossible?

I've been using dreamweaver 1.2 eval for 4 weeks, no probs (except one
serious security flaw on Mac version), and I finally decided to order the
full version....

What I've got is version 1.0 which I've had to update with a 9meg download
(or I can get an update CD for $19.95!!!??!)

So now that I've got 1.2, I find it's racked with ftp problems - mostly to
do with not sending files & reporting lost connections - and when I try to
find tech support, what do I get?

dozens of links, faqs and technotes - all I want is a simple 'click here for
e-mail support' etc.

So, eventually I find that if I want to ask Tech Support something then I
have to pay per question (I don't think so)

But wait - it says here I get 90 days Free Support! Great! :)

aahhh....but for this, I have to apply via POST (wtf?!?) . No, this won't do
either......not at all.....:(

Well, there's always the good-old discussion groups, let me try there....Oh,
what's that? Unknown Protocol?

Damn. Well, sorry....I guess since I can't get into the Dreamweaver list, I
might as well relieve myself on the Flash list instead.....:P

Apologies to all if this is uncalled for or out of place, but I'm 8 hours
into a bad experience and my blood is too hot to let it go unscreamed.
Needless to say, I still haven't solved my problem and I still can't publish
my work to any of 6 servers. Time for bed. G'night.
