There are two alternatives to using Scenes.
1) Just use Labels, the disadvantage is the timeline can get very long.
There is a limit of 16000 frames.
2) Break sections into Movie Clips that can act in a similar fashion to
scenes. Keep common elements out of Movie Clips on the main timeline to
keep file size at a minimum. Disadvantages are there is a small
oveerhead for MCs and MC don't stream they won't play until completely
loaded. Normally I will keep the early segments on the main timeline
especially if they are large or break into smaller MCs.
