FLASH: Mac OS 8.6 Problems with Macromedia Software?

A friend of mine reports to me that significant problems apparently

exist as a result of installing Macintosh System 8.6 and then running

Macromedia software products. His example was of the disk drive just

spinning for minutes, at which time one is not able to interact with the

computer (keyboard/mouse input).


Has anyone else experienced this?
