Christian,

Flash file protection is done via a protect tag with tag id = 24.
Use a hex editor and remove the tag then adjust the value of the size
tag.
This will allow you to import the swf file into a new movie as a linear
sequence of keyframes.
As most of your work will be lost anyway you would be better off
starting from a clean slate.

P.S. Yes I know there are some 'tools' available to 'hack' swf files.
But as these are mainly targeted towards recovering the bitmapped images
and sounds from a swf file I don't think you are interested in them.
