It's possible, but it depends what you need to do...
If you don't need to launch any other external apps, such as adobe
acrobat, or launch a browser, you should be fine. Just do everything as a
really big flash movie, or use load movie commands to load seperate
elements. (Get URL probably won't work)

The main problem with flash as a projector is opening external
files. It's possible that you could use the exec() FSCommand function. I had
the same problem with creating an installer front end for a software CD ROM.
I ended up using director.

To create a flash projector, open the flash player, load your move &
select file>create projector.
