FLASH: vecta problem

Hi everybody I recently bought vecta 3d and when I try to import my file this error comes up 

"fault reading `C:/profile/admin/deskttop/style.ai file is not in illustrator 88,/3.0/3.2 or4.0 format"


I  use win NT 4.0 and illustrator 8..


what is wrong with this format?


also I tried to save as 4.3.2 but didn`t worked.
